Therapy for men, first responders, and healthcare professionals across Ohio

Therapy for firefighters in Ohio dealing with stress, burnout, and trauma

You’re used to being the one people rely on

Whether it’s your job, your family, or just the role you’ve always taken on, you’re someone who shows up. You handle things. You push through.

But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

I also bring firsthand experience as a firefighter/paramedic and 911 dispatcher into this work.

A lot of the people I work with are carrying stress, pressure, or experiences they don’t talk about. Over time, it builds- mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Therapy is a place where you don’t have to keep everything running at full capacity.

My approach is straightforward and collaborative

I don’t believe therapy needs to feel complicated or overly clinical to be effective.

Sessions with me are conversational, practical, and focused on helping you feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

We’ll work together to:

  • Understand what’s been building up beneath the surface

  • Develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, and mental overload

  • Process experiences that have been hard to carry on your own

  • Help you feel more steady, clear, and like yourself again

You don’t need to have the “right words” or know exactly where to start.

Therapy for EMS and paramedics in Ohio managing high-pressure work environments

Who I work with

I specialize in working with men and professionals in high-responsibility roles across Ohio.

This includes:

  • First responders (police, fire, EMS)

  • Healthcare professionals (nurses, doctors, medical staff)

  • Men dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, or burnout

  • Individuals who are used to handling things on their own

If you’re used to being the steady one, therapy can be a place where you finally get support too.

Background & training

I earned my education from John Carroll University and currently practice under supervision in the state of Ohio.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a firefighter/paramedic and 911 dispatcher. That experience gives me a firsthand understanding of the pressure, responsibility, and real-world demands that come with first responder roles.

My work is grounded in helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions in a way that feels practical and manageable.

I bring a direct, supportive, and approachable style into sessions so therapy feels like a space you can actually use, not just talk in.

You don’t have to keep doing this on your own

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or mentally drained, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Therapy can be a place to reset, get clear, and start feeling more like yourself again.
